Mission Statement

The Bellport, Hagerman, East Patchogue Alliance, Inc.(BHEP Alliance, Inc.) was established in 1979 as a non-profit community service organization. The mission of the Alliance is to improve community conditions, overcome apathy and negative attitudes by involving the community residents in innovative ways of creating additional housing units, and assist tenants and homeowners to maintain and improve their homes. The goal is to provide an opportunity for the homeless and low income households to live lives of dignity; and representing the needs of residents for better housing, job opportunities and community services.


BHEP Alliance Housing Development Fund Corp.
This Corporation was incorporated in New York State on January 11, 1991. The purpose of this Corporation is to provide decent low cost housing for the homeless and very low income families. The 9 houses in this Corporation were funded by the New York State Department of Social Services and tax foreclosure transferred from the Town of Brookhaven.


Just a reminder the Community Meeting is the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Meetings start @ 6 p.m. Next meeting is April 17,  2019.  Guest Speaker will be Detective Cliff Lent, Homeland Security and Crinimal Intelligence Bureau


The Department of Labor (DOL)  will be at the Alliance every Tuesday  from 12:30 -4:00pm appointments only.  The Department of Social Services are at the Alliance from 9am-1:00pm on the 2nd & 3rd Tuesday and 9am-6pm on the 1st and 4th Tuesday.


Services that will be provided:


Department of Labor - Resume, Job Search, Job Training programs


Department of Social Services - Application -New/Old (SNAP), food stamps, medicaid, regular HEAP, and Issues regarding existing DSS cases.

Community Base Initiative Worker

 Assist residents with job readiness and employment assistance.





General Warehouse:

Performs a wide varity of stocking and packing duties.


Fork Lift Operator:

Responsible for safely operating electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift or elevating, to push, lift, stack,or move products/materials


Bulk Material Handler:

Responsible for ensuring that proper bulk is placed into the line hopper, which are used to move materials to and from packaging lines


Line Runner:

Responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the operation of a packaging line 


Line Technician:

Ensure the proper setup of the packaging line before and during the job run
